A Unique Organization and Private/Public Partnership Celebrates 15 Years of Growth
STC employees are part of a unique organization and a successful private/public partnership that has grown in so many ways over the past 15 years! It may not always come to light that since its founding, STC has developed a unique, non-profit business model and customer-centric reputation that differentiates the company from all others of its kind. In fact, STC's success is based on a private/public partnership that continues to grow and work well for older adults in Cuyahoga County.
In 2020, STC celebrated its 15th year anniversary since our founding in 2005. During that time, STC has reached many milestones, both as an organization and among the many communities we now serve. Therefore, in 2021 we would like to revisit just a few of the important accomplishments of the past as we look forward to the future and to continuing our mission in the new decade ahead.
In 2019, STC delivered 128,000 trips and traveled 1.3 million miles during a regular year. By contrast, in 2020 STC delivered 50,000 trips due to the impact of COVID-19. However, the company has remained open throughout the year and has prioritized and continued to serve medical and dialysis clients among our riders.
Over the years, we are proud of STC employees who take ownership for the service we provide and for making STC a unique organization with the most customer centric reputation. With a 15-year history of growth and service, STC looks forward to serving our clients and riders in 2021 and in the future!
